A resin-saturated felt tube made of polyester, fiberglass cloth or a number of other materials suitable for resin impregnation, is inverted or pulled into a damaged pipe. It is usually done from the upstream access point (manhole or excavation). It is possible to invert the liner upstream (e.g. from the downstream access point) but this carries greater risk. It is possible to install a liner from the downstream access point, upstream to a blind end, however, this carries the highest risk of all the CIPP installation methods. Little to no digging is involved in this trenchless process, making for a potentially more cost-effective and less disruptive method than traditional “dig and replace” pipe repair methods.
Choosing Perma-Liner for sewer repair using trenchless technology is a decision rooted in the commitment to efficiency, durability, and minimal disruption. Here’s why:
Efficient and Rapid Installation: Trenchless technology, as the name suggests, eliminates the need for extensive excavation. When you choose Perma-Liner for your sewer repair, you’re opting for a solution that is quicker to install compared to traditional methods. This means less time spent on repairs, faster return to normalcy, and reduced labor costs.
Durable and Long-Lasting: Perma-Liner products are designed to stand the test of time. Made with high-quality materials, these liners offer superior resistance to corrosion, root intrusion, and general wear and tear. When installed correctly, they create a seamless, jointless pipe within a pipe, ensuring that the repaired section is even stronger and more resilient than before.
Minimal Disruption: One of the major challenges with traditional sewer repair is the significant disruption it causes. This includes tearing up lawns, driveways, and sometimes even roads. With Perma-Liner’s trenchless technology, the disruption to the property and daily life is kept to an absolute minimum. This means less mess, no extensive landscape repairs post-operation, and an overall smoother experience for the homeowner or property manager.
In summary, choosing Perma-Liner for sewer repair trenchless technology is a smart choice for those looking for a rapid, durable, and non-intrusive solution. The investment not only ensures effective repair but also promises longevity and peace of mind.
